Michael Swords Studio is a RIBA Chartered architectural practice and AABC-accredited conservation architect, based in London with a second base in the Lake District. It provides conservation-led design and strategic heritage advice grounded in material significance, planning policy and contemporary use. Its work spans private listed houses, civic and cultural landmarks, churches, public-sector heritage assets and discreet diplomatic commissions, across Grade I, II* and II buildings. Current commissions include assessing more than 2,000 listed assets in the Lake District National Park and the care of around twenty churches and chapels.
