Mel Morris Conservation

Mel Morris Conservation is a heritage consultancy set up in 2001 to advise on the conservation and management of listed buildings and historic areas. The practice is led by Mel Morris, who has more than 25 years of experience in building conservation. Each commission starts with detailed research into the heritage asset so that the advice given rests on a sound understanding of the place. Where a project calls for wider expertise, the practice brings in independent consultants in fields such as architecture, ecology and archaeology, allowing it to offer a joined-up approach suited to the particular site. Clients include owners and project teams who need guidance on how change can be managed without harming the significance of a historic building or area.
