Hirst Conservation
Hirst Conservation Ltd was founded by Elizabeth Hirst and has worked for over thirty years on the conservation of objects, buildings and their surfaces, taking a holistic approach across disciplines. The team includes PACR-accredited conservator-restorers and a research department carrying out architectural paint research from its Lincolnshire base, working nationally and occasionally internationally. Its services extend from surveys and consultancy through traditional plasterwork, stone, terracotta and other building surfaces, decoration and gilding, wall paintings, monuments and sculpture, easel paintings, and joinery and timber.
Suitable for: significant historic buildings, churches and monuments needing specialist conservation of decorative surfaces, plaster or stone, or paint analysis to inform a redecoration scheme.
