Harrison Brookes Architects

Harrison Brookes Architects is a Frome practice, established in 1999, combining new design with specialist conservation of historic and listed buildings across the South West. It has delivered more than 300 projects on over 450 listed buildings and scheduled ancient monuments, and states RIBA and AABC accreditation for conservation work, with Rhys Brookes listed as a Specialist Conservation Architect on the RIBA Conservation Register. Services include architectural appraisals, reports and historical analysis, feasibility studies, planning permission and listed building consent, retrofit and sustainability advice, detailed design and specifications, and building regulations compliance. The team also holds retrofit coordination and Passivhaus qualifications. Projects include the renovation of a derelict timber-framed building, The Old Courthouse.
