Gills Joinery is a family-run Yorkshire joinery workshop making traditional bespoke timber joinery, from site survey through to fitted commission. Made-to-measure sash, casement and French windows are produced in a range of styles and finishes for period refurbishment and new houses, alongside bespoke doors with quality paint finishes and ironmongery. Staircases are designed individually, from traditional forms in keeping with a house’s history to curved and spiral stairs. Interior panelling can replicate the mouldings of a chosen period, including hand carving, and the workshop also builds fitted cabinetry and kitchens. Work on listed properties is carried out like-for-like, and vacuum glazing can be fitted to slim timber sashes on retrofit projects.
