Dorset Heritage Ltd specialises in the repair, replacement and refurbishment of timber sash and casement windows and doors, working from a joinery workshop in Portland and an office in Weymouth. Window services cover cord replacement, draught-proofing, timber repairs, secondary and double glazing, full refurbishment and matching replacements made in-house. The firm mostly works on listed buildings and has restored windows at Gloucester Lodge, George III’s former summer residence (Grade II), the Prince Regent Hotel and The Customs House on Weymouth harbourside, as well as a derelict period manor house in a conservation area. It can handle Listed Building Consent and conservation area applications for clients, and also offers general building, joinery, roofing and project management.
