David George Surveying & Conservation is a chartered building surveying practice based at Stoodleigh, near Tiverton, run by a Chartered Building Surveyor since 1990 with wide experience of commercial and residential property and conservation accreditation. The practice covers Devon, Cornwall and Somerset and works on buildings from vernacular cottages to country estates and stately homes. The aim is to understand each heritage asset in its historical context and as a living structure, and to advise the client on protecting its integrity and long-term future. The practice also undertakes church surveys, more usually the province of conservation architects, and takes on design work alongside survey, maintenance planning and repair management.
