Calibre Conservation

Calibre Conservation is an architectural conservation business in Lincoln that focuses on the conservation and repair of historic structures and interiors. Its experience ranges from palaces and castles to Victorian bandstands and public toilets. Before work starts, it carries out condition surveys, architectural paint research, materials analysis and trials to establish the nature, condition and significance of the fabric. The results are used to set a conservation strategy, prioritise maintenance and repairs, and choose suitable materials and methods while avoiding unnecessary treatments. Calibre works in specialist teams covering a range of conservation skills and acts as a single point of contact, managing projects from start to finish. It takes on projects in the UK and abroad.
