Beams Ltd (Build Environment Advisory and Management Service) is the trading company of the Hertfordshire Building Preservation Trust, a registered charity formed in 1963 to preserve and restore historic buildings. The company was set up in 1993 to provide specialist historic environment skills to local authorities, architects and owners of historic buildings, in Hertfordshire and beyond. It is a small team with a broad knowledge of built environment conservation, and any profits are passed back to the Trust to maintain the listed buildings it has rescued.
