Bath Conservation Architects
Bath Conservation Architects is a small practice with over twenty years of specialist experience in historic building work, covering the South West and beyond. It works on listed structures in their repair, conservation and renewal, basing design decisions on historic research and analysis of each site, and combining scholarly restoration with modern materials where a clear contrast suits. Recent work includes listed building consent for alterations to a Grade II early nineteenth-century villa in Macaulay Buildings, Bath; specifications for lime mortar, stone cleaning, elm floor repairs and lime plaster at an eighteenth-century cottage; quinquennial inspection of the Keynsham Cemetery mortuary chapels; and an appointment as church architect for Langridge. It also advised on Weston-super-Mare’s High Street Heritage Action Zone shopfront scheme.
