B Murphy & Co

B Murphy & Co is an independent joinery company in Muswell Hill, North London, working since 1964. It specialises in traditionally made wooden windows and doors for homes in conservation areas, including the preservation and restoration of listed windows and doors. Doors and frames are made to match existing examples or to architects’ drawings, and the firm has an established reputation for curved joinery using traditional mortice and tenon construction. Other work includes porches, conservatories, hardwood gates, garage doors and gable timbers, and it has taken part in the redevelopment of a commercial street in Ealing. It works regularly with architectural practices.
