Ashley Stained Glass specialises in the conservation, restoration and protection of architectural stained glass, and has more than 25 years’ experience working with architects and the clergy. The firm states that it has carried out extensive conservation work for English Heritage and Cadw and for conservation-accredited architects. Ecclesiastical conservation and repair is the main part of its work, but it also takes on commercial and domestic projects. All work is done in-house: stained glass, leaded lights and art glass, the design and installation of window protection, and the repair or fabrication of metal casements and window hoppers, including restoring old frames. Where building regulations require it, it can encapsulate art glass in double-glazed units. The firm works nationwide.
