The Square Pipe Bend changes the direction of a cast iron square downpipe run while keeping the full square section through the turn, so the pipework reads as one continuous architectural element on the elevation. Square bends have no front or side handing; the same fitting turns the run in any direction.
Three angles are available. The 92.5 degree bend takes a run horizontally, for example from an outlet across a wall face; the 112.5 degree bend gives a moderate change of direction; and the 135 degree bend gives a gentle set-back, typically used in pairs to step around a string course or eaves projection. Each bend has a moulded socket to receive the pipe above.
Bends are used wherever a square downpipe has to negotiate cornices, plinths, window heads and changes in the wall line, and to take water from a hopper or outlet to a convenient vertical run.
All fittings in our square range are cast iron to BS 460:2002, made to the same moulded profile so pipes and fittings line up neatly on the elevation. Every fitting is supplied either in primer, ready for painting on site, or in factory black. For listed buildings and conservation areas we also offer hand-applied linseed oil paint in heritage colours, which stays breathable and flexible and is straightforward to maintain. Stocked items are usually dispatched within 5 to 7 working days; allow around 6 to 7 weeks where a linseed oil finish is specified.
Square pipe sizes: 75mm x 75mm (3″ x 3″) and 100mm x 100mm (4″ x 4″).
Suitable for listed buildings, conservation areas and heritage restoration. For specification support or a project quotation, call 0333 987 4452.

A hit and miss vent has a sliding plate on the back of the grille that can be opened, partially restricted, or closed entirely without removing the vent from the wall. This allows airflow to be controlled from inside the building, making it suitable for underfloor void ventilation and through-wall ventilation where adjustable airflow is needed.
With National Maintenance week fast approaching (18th – 25th November 2011), Tuscan Foundry Products Ltd have decided to help period property owners look after rainwater systems by offering big discounts on selected cast iron gutters, pipes and fittings.
Friday 25th November is designated as National Gutters Day and on this particular day, homeowners are encouraged to check their systems for evidence of damage. Repairing sections of damaged cast iron gutter and pipe can help avoid potentially thousands of pounds of damage to brickwork.
Tuscan is offering these savings across a range of profiles and includes both primer and painted stock. The offers will only be available whilst stocks last so visit our website to view our discounted cast iron rainwater goods today.

Yes. The Louvre Airbrick is dimensioned to standard brick course openings and is suitable for direct replacement of worn, broken, or missing original cast iron louvre grilles. If you are unsure of the size required, measure the opening in the brickwork rather than the existing damaged grille.
