Earband type G is one of our range of ornamental cast iron earbands for round downpipe: a decorative collar that gives plain pipe a set of fixing ears.
The earband fits around the pipe at the socket and is fixed to the wall through its ears, so plain pipe gains the fixing of an eared pipe with an added decorative detail. Type G sits alongside types A, B, C, D, E, F, J and K, which helps match a surviving historic pattern as closely as possible.
Earbands are used to replicate original ornamental fixings on Victorian civic and ecclesiastical buildings, villas and terraces, and to add period character to a new installation. If you need to match an existing earband, send photographs with dimensions and we will advise on the closest pattern.
Sizes: 65mm (2½″), 75mm (3″) and 100mm (4″) diameter.
Cast in solid grey iron in the UK to BS 460, and supplied primed for site painting or factory black painted. Linseed oil paint finishes can be quoted on request.
Suitable for listed buildings and conservation area work. For specification advice, a full schedule or a quotation, call 0333 987 4452 or use the contact form.

All of our cast iron radiators are availbale as standard with a 1/2″ BSP (15mm) connection. We are though also able to supply many of our radiators and valves with 3/4″ BSP connections. Due to the size proportions of some radiators and valves 3/4″ connections may be more suitable.
The Polished Lacquered finish suits buildings where period ironwork was finished bright rather than painted — formal entrance elevations, listed properties, and settings where the grille contributes to the decorative programme of the facade. It is appropriate for conservation specifications and high-specification heritage new build.

With National Maintenance week fast approaching (18th – 25th November 2011), Tuscan Foundry Products Ltd have decided to help period property owners look after rainwater systems by offering big discounts on selected cast iron gutters, pipes and fittings.
Friday 25th November is designated as National Gutters Day and on this particular day, homeowners are encouraged to check their systems for evidence of damage. Repairing sections of damaged cast iron gutter and pipe can help avoid potentially thousands of pounds of damage to brickwork.
Tuscan is offering these savings across a range of profiles and includes both primer and painted stock. The offers will only be available whilst stocks last so visit our website to view our discounted cast iron rainwater goods today.
