A genuine cast iron rainwater pattern the deep half round is available in two profile sizes. The profile is a larger version of the more traditional half round pattern and offers increased capacity.

Our hopper heads are produced in solid cast iron and we can assist with specification notes or material statements for planning purposes if required.

Its plain square-grid face matches the utilitarian aesthetic of late-Victorian construction and is also appropriate for new heritage-style builds in conservation areas.
BS 460:2002 is the British Standard governing cast iron rainwater goods — gutters, pipes, and fittings. It sets the dimensional tolerances, materials, and performance requirements a component must meet, so that joints seal, sections align, and the system performs as a whole rather than as isolated parts. All Tuscan Foundry Products components are manufactured to comply with BS 460:2002, which is worth citing directly in specification documents and listed building consent applications. The same manufacturing standard applies to bespoke and copy-cast work, even where the profile itself isn't from our standard range.
The H460 accepts round pipe connections in 65mm, 75mm, and 100mm diameters. Square pipe connections are available in 75×75mm, 100×100mm, and 125×125mm. Rectangular connections include 100×75mm, 125×100mm, and 150×100mm options. Connection type is selected at the point of order.
