A genuine cast iron rainwater pattern the G46 or No.46 is available in two profile sizes. The profile is a larger version of the more traditional ogee (OG) curved pattern and offers increased capacity.
The cast iron G46 moulded gutter 135 degree angle provides an obtuse corner fitting for the G46 pattern, handling bay windows, canted elevations, and returns on the large Victorian and Edwardian properties where the G46 is the standard profile. The full G46 moulded cross-section is maintained through the angle, ensuring the profile reads consistently at every junction.
Manufactured in solid cast iron to BS 460:2002. Available in both profile sizes: 125mm (5″) and 150mm (6″). Supplied in primed or factory black finish. The G46 135 degree angle is not interchangeable with common ogee fittings — all fittings must be from the G46 range.
Commonly specified on country houses, rectories, civic buildings, and large institutional properties where the prominent bay-fronted or multi-faceted elevation requires the obtuse angle fitting to complete the gutter run correctly. Accepted by conservation officers as the appropriate fitting for period rainwater work.
Compatibility: G46 moulded cast iron gutter 125mm and 150mm only. For specification support, call 0333 987 4452.

Cast iron hopper heads from Tuscan Foundry are available in Standard Black (a factory-applied primer and topcoat finish) and Heritage Colours. A linseed oil paint finish is also available, providing a vapour-permeable, historically authentic coating that is particularly appropriate for listed buildings and conservation projects. Full finish specifications are available from the team.
The Calnethorpe is designed for formal classical and Georgian elevations where scale and material authenticity matter — large townhouses, country houses, manor houses, and institutional buildings. It is also widely specified for new-build heritage projects where cast iron rainwater goods are required to conservation standard.
The H1 is available to accept round pipe connections in 65mm, 75mm, 100mm, and 150mm diameters. The 65mm and 75mm variants measure 305mm wide by 197mm deep and 210mm high. The 100mm variant measures 355mm wide by 230mm deep and 240mm high. A 150mm connection option is also available — please contact the team for dimensions.
Yes. Cast iron rainwater goods are widely accepted by conservation officers and historic environment bodies as the appropriate material for listed buildings. Tuscan Foundry's hopper heads are manufactured in solid cast iron to BS 460 specification and are suitable for all listed building grades. A linseed oil paint finish is also available, which is particularly appropriate for conservation projects.
We are able to place dates and initials and insignia onto most of our flat faced rainwater hopper heads.
Our cast iron hopper heads are available in a standard primed and black-painted finish, ready for on-site topcoats. Heritage colour finishes and factory-applied linseed oil paint are available on request. Linseed oil paint is a vapour-permeable, period-appropriate finish particularly well suited to listed buildings and conservation area properties.
The School Board Airbrick (F020801AFC) is available in three standard sizes: 225mm × 75mm, 225mm × 150mm, and 225mm × 225mm. These correspond to one-, two-, and three-brick-course heights and allow ventilation requirements to be met across a range of subfloor and wall opening sizes.
The Ornamental Airbrick (OAB) is available in three sizes: 225mm × 75mm (2.8kg), 225mm × 150mm (4.1kg), and 225mm × 225mm (5.8kg). All sizes have a uniform depth of 75mm, making them consistent to install across a subfloor ventilation course.
The Polished Lacquered finish suits buildings where period ironwork was finished bright rather than painted — formal entrance elevations, listed properties, and settings where the grille contributes to the decorative programme of the facade. It is appropriate for conservation specifications and high-specification heritage new build.
