A genuine cast iron rainwater system with the traditional ogee (OG) curved pattern.
The cast iron ogee gutter union clip joins adjacent ogee gutter sections in a run, bridging the socket-and-spigot joint to create a continuous, mechanically connected system. The union clip is an essential component in any cast iron ogee installation — it holds the joint alignment under thermal movement and loading, and provides the fixing point for the jointing compound seal.
Manufactured in solid cast iron to BS 460:2002. Available in the three standard ogee sizes: 100mm (4″), 115mm (4.5″), and 125mm (5″). Supplied in primed or factory black finish. Used in conjunction with gutter bolts and jointing compound at every section joint in the run.
Specified on listed buildings and heritage restoration projects across England and Wales where the cast iron ogee is the historically correct profile. Accepted by conservation officers as the appropriate fitting for period rainwater work.

Tuscan Foundry's cast iron hopper heads are available in Standard Black and Heritage Colour finishes. We manufacture a wide variety of brackets for many different cast iron gutter and pipe profiles. More common types are the rise and fall, top fix and side fix rafter and the holderbat or pipe clip.
We can also offer traditional drive brackets, repair brackets and fascia brackets in both steel and cast iron.
It is always advisable to replace like with like because quite often the brackets form and important part of the buildings architecture. Occasionally buildings have special decorative brackets and our UK manufacturing allows us to produce small quantities of bespoke brackets when required.

Standard stock items are available for prompt dispatch. We always recommend confirming lead times at enquiry stage so your project programme is not affected.
Our cast iron hopper heads are available with 65mm, 75mm and 100mm round outlets, 75mm, 100mm and 125mm square outlets, and 100x75mm, 125x100mm and 150x125mm rectangular outlets, to match the downpipe already on site or specified for the project.

The H460 is well suited to Georgian, Regency, and Victorian buildings where a plain, undecorated rectangular hopper is the appropriate choice — particularly listed properties, conservation area buildings, and institutional or commercial buildings in historic town centres. Its clean, restrained form makes it equally appropriate on modern heritage-style construction where period accuracy is required without ornamental detail.
