A genuine cast iron rainwater system with the traditional ogee (OG) curved pattern.
The cast iron ogee gutter 90 degree angle provides a square corner fitting for the ogee profile — the standard rainwater system on Georgian and Victorian terraced houses, rectories, and period domestic architecture across England and Wales. The ogee S-curve cross-section is maintained through the angle fitting, ensuring the characteristic profile reads consistently at every change of direction on the building.
Manufactured in solid cast iron to BS 460:2002 and available in the three standard ogee sizes: 100mm (4″), 115mm (4.5″), and 125mm (5″). Supplied in primed or factory black finish. Connects to adjacent gutter sections via the standard socket-and-spigot joint.
Specified on listed buildings, conservation area properties, and heritage restoration projects where the cast iron ogee is the historically correct profile. Accepted by conservation officers across England and Wales as the appropriate fitting for period rainwater work.
Compatibility: Cast iron ogee gutter 100mm, 115mm, 125mm. For specification support, call 0333 987 4452.

The polished chrome telescopic rooflight hand winder opener is available in multiple sizes. The telescopic mechanism adjusts to accommodate varying rooflight positions and throw requirements. For a full list of available sizes, visit tuscanfoundry.com or call 0333 987 4452.
We manufacture a wide variety of brackets for many different cast iron gutter and pipe profiles. More common types are the rise and fall, top fix and side fix rafter and the holderbat or pipe clip.
We can also offer traditional drive brackets, repair brackets and fascia brackets in both steel and cast iron.
It is always advisable to replace like with like because quite often the brackets form and important part of the buildings architecture. Occasionally buildings have special decorative brackets and our UK manufacturing allows us to produce small quantities of bespoke brackets when required.
The Brass Rooflight Opener Handle 1520mm is a pole-operated handle designed for manual rooflight opening mechanisms. It is suitable for use with Lumen Rooflights and compatible timber-framed skylights, and is particularly appropriate for period and heritage properties where a brass finish is specified.
We are able to place dates and initials and insignia onto most of our flat faced rainwater hopper heads.
Yes. A polished brass finish is historically appropriate for period buildings and is generally acceptable to conservation officers for listed building projects. If you are unsure about the specification requirements for your project, we are happy to advise — call 0333 987 4452.
The louvre face provides directional airflow and offers some resistance to driven rain entering the subfloor void, making it a practical choice for exposed elevations or properties in areas with significant prevailing wind and rainfall. The square-grid (school board) pattern offers a larger open ventilation area but less weather protection.
Tuscan Foundry's cast iron hopper heads are available in Standard Black and Heritage Colour finishes. A linseed oil paint finish is also offered — a sustainable, vapour-permeable option particularly appropriate for listed buildings and conservation projects. Heritage colour swatches are available from the team on request.
For rooflights directly above a worktop or sink, a telescopic screw-jack hand winder is the most practical choice. Available in polished brass, satin chrome, and polished chrome, these openers allow controlled ventilation from a fixed handle position without requiring a pole. The 150mm or 250mm size is typically appropriate for standard-height kitchen rooflights.
Cast iron hopper heads are priced on enquiry due to the range of connection and finish options available. Please call us on 0333 987 4452 or use the contact form and we will respond promptly with a quotation tailored to your project requirements.
