West Country Tiling

West Country Tiling is a roofing contractor based in Somerset with over 35 years of experience, working across Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Devon and Dorset. It specialises in church roofing and works on listed buildings and private homes for clients, architects and builders. Its crews handle Cotswold, Collyweston, Hamstone and Purbeck stone slates, Welsh, Delabole, Westmorland and Burlington slate, clay plain tiles, pantiles and double Roman tiles, cedar and oak shingles, and sheet and sand cast lead. Craftsmen complete a three-year slating and tiling apprenticeship and Lead Sheet Association courses, and each carries out the carpentry, roofing and leadwork on a roof. Recent work includes restoration at the Grade I listed Bisham Abbey.
