Vitrail Studios

Vitrail Studios is a stained glass and leaded light studio in Morpeth, Northumberland, run by Philip Crook, a fine art graduate of Newcastle University who studied stained glass under Leonard Evetts. Trading since 1980, it designs, makes, repairs and restores windows of any style or period, from Victorian, Edwardian and ecclesiastical glass to Art Deco and modern work. Philip has worked on the Victoria and Albert Museum collection and, with the York Glaziers Trust, on fifteenth-century glass from York Minster and fourteenth-century glass from New College, Oxford. Clients have included Sir John Soane’s Museum, the Laing Art Gallery and Beamish Museum. The studio works on churches, old buildings, homes and museum collections.
