Traditional Oak & Timber Co (TradOak) is a small family-run oak and timber merchant at Sheffield Park in East Sussex, supplying oak for more than 35 years and holding one of the largest stocks of reclaimed, air-dried, hollowed-out and structural oak beams in the UK. Air-dried beams are cut from green oak and left to season naturally so that most shrinkage happens before installation. The firm designs and fabricates bespoke oak frames for houses, extensions, garages, porches, sun rooms and carports, supplied in kit form with pegs and assembly drawings, and makes oak doors, staircases and fireplace beams, working closely with architects and structural engineers.
