The Purple Stained Glass Studio

The Purple Stained Glass Studio is run by glass artist Bonnie Brooksbank from Dishley Grange Farm on the outskirts of Loughborough, Leicestershire. The studio covers all aspects of stained glass and leaded lights, including repairs and re-leading, traditional glass painting and new commissions. It can also triple glaze existing leaded lights so that they fit into new frames. Projects have ranged from restoring church windows to creating new work for particular settings, using traditional techniques developed over some 20 years, alongside more modern glass fusing and copper foiling. The studio also runs workshops teaching these techniques. Owners of period houses and churches in the East Midlands with damaged or failing leaded glazing may find it a useful local contact for repair, re-leading or replacement panels made to match existing work.
