The Old Stone Doctor

The Old Stone Doctor is a stonemasonry business based in Bath, run by an individual stonemason working mainly in Bath and Cotswold stone. Its work covers stone fireplaces, bespoke garden walls and patios, inscriptions and lettering, and the care and repair of architectural heritage. It also carves ecclesiastical and devotional pieces in Bath and Cotswold stone. A further service is stonemason-led drone surveys of chimneys, parapets, gutters and other high-level Bath stone masonry, which allow the condition of upper elevations to be assessed from the ground before any access equipment or repair work is arranged.
