The British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing
The British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) is the professional body that promotes the advancement of the science and practice of non-destructive testing (NDT), condition monitoring, diagnostic engineering and related materials and quality testing disciplines. It operates the PCN personnel certification scheme, provides education and training from apprenticeships through to degree courses, offers membership grades with Engineering Council registration, publishes the journal Insight, and runs conferences, exhibitions, branch meetings and awards. A buyers’ guide lists equipment providers, inspection services and independent consultants.
