Taft Architects
Taft Architects is a conservation architecture practice based in Leith, Edinburgh, working on the repair, restoration and adaptive reuse of historic buildings across Scotland. The practice pairs conservation expertise with sustainable retrofit and strategic planning, taking projects from initial fabric surveys and feasibility studies through listed building and scheduled monument applications to delivery on site. Recent work includes the refurbishment of St Mark’s Church, conservation of The Haining, a Category A listed building, and a fabric survey of a Category B listed church in Ardrossan, alongside energy upgrades to listed villa flats and bespoke new-build houses.
