Swedish Linseed Paint is the sole UK distributor of the Allbäck range of linseed oil paints and related products, made in Sweden to traditional recipes from cleaned, sterilised cold-pressed linseed oil and natural pigments. The paints contain no plastic, solvents or turpentine, giving a very low VOC content, and are applied as a single-pot system that nourishes timber as well as coating it. Allbäck products have been used on the Château de Versailles, the Amalienborg palaces in Copenhagen, the Holkham Estate and, most recently, Norwich Castle, where the paint was matched to the Royal Standard colours on doors and metal scrollwork.
Suitable for: repainting sash windows, doors, gates, railings and cast iron rainwater goods on period buildings where a breathable, traditional finish is required.
