Swann Design Architects

Swann Design is an architectural practice based at Great Elm, near Frome, working mainly within about 40 miles across Somerset, Wiltshire, Bath and Dorset. It designs new homes, extensions, renovations and rural conversions for householders, community groups, charities and commercial clients. Its work ranges from contemporary timber-framed houses to sensitive upgrades of traditional cottages, and it also specialises in hydro-powered conversions of old buildings into homes. Projects include the Cheese & Grain in the centre of Frome, which received a gold award for built environment and architectural heritage. The practice also provides sketches and 3D visualisations. Its work on traditional buildings sits within a wider residential practice.
