Sussex Thatching Ltd

Sussex Thatching Ltd is run by Greg, who has around twenty years of thatching experience in the south of England and abroad, including a historic rethatch in the United States. He works in both combed wheat reed and water reed. Projects shown include full rethatches of cottages, houses, a small barn and a pool house, new straw ridges, de-mossing and the fitting of protective wire mesh to older roofs. The business covers East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent and beyond, takes on jobs of any size and is fully insured. Greg describes a particular interest in the restoration and preservation of historic buildings, and states he is a member of the National Society of Master Thatchers.
