Static Dynamic Ltd is a structural engineering design consultancy based in Wales and working across the UK, with an emphasis on more sustainable engineering. It was founded by Kate Wise, who is involved directly in delivering projects and describes herself as an engineer, designer and thinker. She holds an MEng (Hons), is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers (since 2018) and of the Institution of Civil Engineers, and is a Conservation Accredited Engineer. She also sits on industry committees and educational groups in Wales and internationally. The practice offers a bespoke design service and takes on projects of differing size for homeowners and businesses. Its conservation accreditation means it can advise on older and historic structures, although specific heritage schemes are not set out.
