SK Conservation Ltd

SK Conservation is a conservation stonemasonry company working around Frome and Bath. It works on historic buildings with a stated environmental approach: using responsibly sourced and eco-certified materials where possible, reducing waste through careful planning and re-use, and cutting transport emissions by choosing local suppliers. A major project has been the conversion of the Chewton Place estate from commercial to residential use, where SK Conservation has worked on restoration and conservation for more than five years alongside other specialist contractors to preserve the estate’s historic fabric. That work included site reporting, health and safety management and agreed methods of work. The firm suits projects where traditional, historic masonry methods are needed.
