Silk-Leadwork

Silk-Leadwork is a lead roofing contractor working across London and the South East on listed buildings, conservation schemes and commercial roofs. The firm concentrates on sheet lead, carrying out new coverings and the restoration of existing roofs, including pitched and flat lead roofs, box gutters and internal drainage, flashings, soakers and weatherings, bossed and welded details, and lead pipe and penetration work. It also produces sand-cast and decorative leadwork. Where a project calls for a single roofing package, it can take on related natural slating and traditional tiling alongside the lead. Work is undertaken for private clients, architects and main contractors, with installations detailed to BS EN 12588 and current lead sheet guidance.
