Shropshire Coatings

Shropshire Coatings is an approved applicator of SprayCork, a sprayed natural cork coating supplied through CorkSol for insulating and weatherproofing internal and external walls on new build and renovation projects. The coating is described as weatherproof, B-rated for fire resistance, sound-absorbing and resistant to cracking, damp, condensation, algae and moss, and it is available in 28 standard colours with a 25-year product warranty. The heritage element of its work is shown in a project on a 1920s solid-walled property suffering from heat loss and damp, where failing non-breathable render was removed, a lime base coat applied and a SprayCork finish added without altering the building’s original proportions. The firm works in Shropshire.
