Rooney Stone

Rooney Stone is a family stonemasonry business that builds and restores natural stonework and describes a trade passed down through five generations of Irish stonemasons. Its work includes the cleaning and restoration of churches and historic buildings, lime pointing, stone cleaning, and the building of stone houses, walls and fireplaces. The business also supplies a range of natural building stone and stone products, and its description refers to Mourne wall building among its specialisms. It states that it covers the UK, Ireland, London, Europe and the USA, and will consider work further afield subject to contract. Owners of churches, listed buildings and stone houses needing lime repointing, cleaning or masonry repair may find it a relevant specialist, particularly in Northern Ireland and the border area around Newry.
