New Forest Master Thatchers Ltd

New Forest Master Thatchers Ltd is based at Sway, near Lymington, and was set up in 1997 by a thatcher who trained in the 1980s. The firm works across Hampshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire and Dorset on private houses and new builds. It uses the three most common thatching materials, combed wheat reed, long straw and water reed, and finishes ridges in both flush and ornamental styles. Fire retardants can be supplied and installed. Customers’ accounts mention cottage rethatches and work around chimneys. Free, no-obligation quotations are offered. The firm states it is a member of the National Society of Master Thatchers.
