McNeilage Conservation

McNeilage Conservation is a Devon-based partnership established in 1995, working in all parts of England and Wales. It conserves wall and panel paintings, polychrome wood, church monuments and statuary, and repairs decorative and carved stone and plasterwork, as well as offering consultancy. Work is carried out in cathedrals, parish churches, buildings in the care of English Heritage and the Churches Conservation Trust, and private houses. Projects referenced include St Mary’s, Nettlecombe, the wall paintings discovered and conserved at St Peter’s, Knowstone, and a twelfth-century Purbeck marble panel.
