Lincs EcoBuild

Lincs EcoBuild, the trading name of Paige Contracting Ltd, is a construction and conservation firm in Lincolnshire. It specialises in solid-walled traditional buildings and favours compatible, like-for-like repairs: lime putty and hot-lime mortars, hemp and perlite plasters, and matched bricks and stone. It avoids cement, gypsum, plastic paints, tanking, injected damp-proof courses and spray foam on old walls. Masonry is cleaned with in-house DOFF superheated steam and Thermatech systems, not sandblasting, after a test panel. Other work includes failed lath and plaster, chimney rebuilds and fireplace repairs. It also provides brickwork and heritage restoration packages for developers and main contractors. The firm states that it has worked on buildings more than 300 years old.
