Lady Bay Art Glass

Lady Bay Art Glass is a small stained glass studio in Nottingham, established in 1993. It repairs, restores and recreates the stained glass window and door panels of the Victorian, Edwardian and inter-war years for houses. Its own area of Nottingham was mostly built between 1890 and 1940, and the studio has researched and catalogued many original designs from those periods, giving it a large portfolio of patterns that suit local properties. Construction methods are traditional, with computer design used to develop the patterns. For worn leaded panels, especially those in doors that have flexed over years of use, the studio strips the panel, cleans the glass and rebuilds it with new lead.
