Kay Pilsbury Thomas Architects is an RIBA Chartered Practice based at Radwinter, near Saffron Walden, with RIBA Specialist Conservation Accreditation and AABC-registered architects. The practice has more than thirty years’ experience of listed and unlisted historic buildings, from medieval to mid-twentieth century, and also designs bespoke new houses in conservation areas and the countryside. It is on The Green Register for its ecological design, use of natural materials and low-carbon technologies, and it works with local conservation officers, planners and Historic England through the consent process. An in-house interior design team produces room schemes, materials boards and schedules for period houses.
