Hurst Peirce + Malcolm LLP

Category
Structural Engineers

Hurst Peirce + Malcolm is a firm of consulting civil and structural engineers founded in London in 1908. The partners lead each project personally, and the practice takes on both new construction and refurbishment, with about half its commissions in London and wide experience of confined sites, deep excavations and retained façades. Advisory services include feasibility studies, structural assessments, design appraisal, construction monitoring, temporary works, party wall advice and expert witness work. The firm keeps a database of around 18,000 projects since 1910 and holds archive records on more than 9,000 building structures, mostly in London, which owners and design teams can search for information on a particular building. Clients listed include English Heritage, the Parliamentary Works Directorate, the Grocers’ and Goldsmiths’ Companies and the Whitechapel Bell Foundry.
