Fowler & Sons Master Thatchers Ltd

Fowler & Sons Master Thatchers Ltd was founded in 1976 by Steve Fowler, who now runs the family business with his sons Neil and Ben. The firm covers Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. It carries out complete rethatching of roofs of any size, including listed buildings, starting by stripping the old coat and checking the roof timbers. Other services include re-ridging, which it suggests is typically needed about every ten years, and patching repairs following a survey of the existing thatch. The firm also installs new thatch on previously unthatched properties and offers guidance on thatch care and the factors that affect cost.
