FMJ Limited

FMJ Limited is a roofing and cladding contractor based in Essex, working on historic and contemporary buildings across the UK. Its specialisms are copper, lead and other metal roofing and cladding, together with slate. A featured project is the replacement of the copper dome at Smithfield Market in London, where the original dome and its supporting framework were assessed in detail before traditional techniques were used to form a new covering matching the earlier roof while meeting current standards for durability. The firm aims to deliver finishes that suit the character of period buildings as well as the requirements of modern schemes.
