Fallen Oak Frames is a small team of carpenters specialising in new green oak frames, timber frame restoration and bespoke carpentry, with over thirty years of combined experience and a Carpenters Fellowship Frame of the Year award. Founder Sam Taylor and his colleagues grew up around fathers working on oak frame buildings, and the firm’s frames are designed and made in-house using traditional framing techniques. Restoration work ranges from full barn restorations and conversions to structural repairs on listed buildings, and the team regularly works alongside conservation officers and heritage consultants to agree schedules of repair where listed building consent is required.
