Essex County Council’s Historic Buildings and Conservation team sits within Place Services, the council’s public sector environmental consultancy. Place Services provides environmental assessment, planning, design and management services to public bodies, with the aim of conserving and enhancing the natural, historic and built environment and achieving well-designed places. Part of that remit is giving public sector clients and their communities access to trusted advice, resources and training.
