Ellis & Co (Restoration and Building)

Ellis & Co (Restoration and Building) is a heritage building contractor based in Somerset, carrying out the conservation, repair and renovation of historic and ecclesiastical buildings across the South West. Its work covers churches, cathedrals and abbeys, historic public buildings, stately homes, private houses and estates, and monuments. The firm employs its own tradespeople for masonry and associated wet trades, carpentry and joinery, so most trades needed on a conservation project are handled in-house. It has more than 40 years of experience, and its clients include the National Trust, Historic England, the Landmark Trust and parochial church councils. Recent work includes church projects at Totnes, Glastonbury and Wrington.
