D Blake & Co is a Scottish metal roofing and cladding contractor, originally set up as a plumbing business in 1877. It now focuses on the supply and installation of lead and copper roofing, together with zinc and stainless or galvanised steel, and undertakes the restoration of existing metal roofs as well as ornamental leadwork. The firm works for clients across Scotland, from Orkney to the Borders, acting as main contractor or subcontractor. Historic buildings it has worked on include Holyrood Palace, Edinburgh Castle, the Usher Hall, Drumlanrig Castle and Bowhill House, along with university and gallery buildings in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dundee.
