Butler Hegarty Architects is an award-winning practice with more than thirty years’ experience as conservation architects, historic buildings consultants and designers, AABC accredited and RIBA Specialist Conservation Architects. The practice works from an understanding of historic buildings and places, applying knowledge of traditional materials and craft techniques to repair and revitalise buildings ranging from high-status listed buildings to more modest everyday ones. Craft is treated as central, with drawing and modelling used to explore ideas, and existing buildings are adapted for new uses and better energy performance.
