Bridestone & Brydges is a family-run natural stone supplier with its own pink sandstone quarry at Dial Lane, Congleton, in Cheshire. Using primary and secondary saws, with hand finishing where needed, it cuts stone to order for window cills and heads, gate posts and caps, quoins, coping and walling stone, arches, steps, carved signs, fireplaces and hearths. It says its cills and lintels suit both period restoration and new build. Its own masons and builders can also take on complete stone builds. The company delivers across the UK and offers fitting for most products. For heritage work it is a source of matched sandstone components more than a conservation contractor.
