Barley Studio

Barley Studio is a stained glass studio at Dunnington, near York, which states it has worked in stained glass creation and conservation for over 50 years. It conserves and restores historic stained glass in ecclesiastical and secular buildings across the UK, following the conservation guidelines of the Corpus Vitrearum Medii Aevi and the Church Buildings Council. Services include condition reports and consultancy, restoration painting, in-situ maintenance, lead glazing, environmental protective glazing, associated metalwork and new stained glass design. Conservation projects listed include St Mary’s Church, Fairford, Lichfield Cathedral, St Denys and All Saints North Street in York, St Nicholas’ Church at Stanford on Avon, Sir William Turner’s Hospital Chapel at Kirkleatham and Stow Minster.
