Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings is England’s first open-air museum, at Stoke Heath near Bromsgrove in Worcestershire. The museum is home to more than thirty buildings and structures that have been rescued, dismantled and re-erected on its rural site, and it is committed to rescuing, preserving and conserving historic buildings for future generations. It also houses the national collection of telephone kiosks and runs blacksmithing courses. A charity, it is supported by memberships and donations, and won a Museums and Heritage Award in 2026 for permanent exhibition of the year.
