Association of English Cathedrals
The Association of English Cathedrals, established in 1990, is the representative body for the 42 English Anglican cathedrals and their partners in the Church in Wales. It acts as a support, a resource and an advocate for its member cathedrals, which together welcome millions of worshippers, visitors and pilgrims each year. The association promotes public engagement with cathedrals through initiatives such as pilgrimage and cycle routes to every member cathedral, arts and music projects, and shared campaigns and events, and publishes information on cathedral life, including Royal Peculiars, minsters and abbeys, and the two English cathedrals on the World Heritage List.
